The efforts of the USPS and UPS can be concentrated using the services of UPS Mail Innovations. It allows for more convenient and flexible delivery of mail and packages. So UPS Mail Innovations is basically a partnership between UPS and the US Postal Service to provide a high-volume mailing service of low-weight packages and mail. UPS Mail Innovations is a program that allows UPS to pick up packages and mail weighing less than one pound separately from the main ground network and bring them to a USPS center, or destination delivery unit (DDU), for final distribution. In response to the growth of FedEx and DHL, UPS partnered with the US Postal Service to provide UPS Mail Innovations. What is UPS Mail Innovations? UPS Mail Innovations is a separate branch of UPS.

In this article, I will describe what UPS Mail Innovations is and the service it offers. Great idea.A lot of people confuse UPS Mail Innovations with UPS, not knowing the difference between them. Cause I couldn't ship to any pickup point, even tried some Avery labels. I'm wondering if there was (is) a system error causing my issue.

It was a single blu Ray disc I'm trying to get. They escalated it and the senior told them what I said above about electronics etc. On chat at first the rep said that address wasn't a pickup point, then they said it was giving an error and they didn't know why. I was selecting the post office where my mail goes anyways as the pickup point. But sometimes they use multiple shippers for one order meaning the address may not be valid if they switch. Seems Amazon will indicate a PO box problem before the order completes. But not knowing te shipping method before ordering makes it though to know which address to put.

So you get a free PO box in a post office. There are many homes in Canada that never have gotten Canada post 'home' delivery. UPS/Fedex/Loomis/Whatever can still deliver to your actual home. Why is your home "PO box only"? That might be only applicable to Canada Post. Only Canada Post delivered stuff can be delivered there. The pick up points are actually Canada Post offices. Can someone help me maximize the prime benefits and ease of ordering?Īlkizmo wrote: ↑It's not an amazon policy. I can put both the street address and PO box in the same address, but if it even got to UPS, they wouldn't even try to deliver it because 'they don't deliver to PO boxes', if the PO box showed. So, I'm trying to sort out two questions, and Amazon chat is just confused:ġ) Is there any way to get delivery guarantee dates (not just an estimated date after the fact) using a PO box?Ģ) Is there a way to format my shipping address that they will be able to accommodate both large and small items with one address, or am I forced to split orders up because CP when it won't let me use the PO box address. On top of that, if I try to order something larger, which would presumably ship with UPS, it won't even allow me to order the item, and says it can't ship to this address. Unless I'm not logged in, then it gives a date. Before it would say the delivery date, now everything prime seems to just say '3-6 days for prime members). Anyone here have a PO box only for home mail delivery and use Amazon Prime? I recently moved, and mail still goes through the same sort centre to me, but seems since we moved I've lost all prime delivery guarantees.
